The above photo was taken in a field of poppies outside of Fredericksburg, Texas. I had just finished speaking to a group of patients at M. D. Anderson Hospital in Houston and I naturally took some of the seriousness of the hospital and its promise home with me. Standing in a field full of sunshine, out in the middle of all that red splendor grown from God's green earth, made me realize how truly blessed I am. I hope this shows in my smile.....
